Greater Spotted Cuckoo

There were numerous reports of Greater Spotted Cuchoo being seen in Cyprus on migration when I visited recently in March April. Having never photographed one previously I was delighted when I spotted this bird at the gravel pits near Akrotori. Using my car I was able to get to within a few feet of this Cuckoo to take these images,being a windy day helped I think. I may have got even clearer images had not an RAF jet
