Glossy Ibis
Glossy Ibis are frequent visitors to Cyprus and fairly common to see however I have always found that when photographing them its been in the middle of day with the light quite harsh. I noticed a group of birds a Oroklini lake one evening and thought I would try to go early the next morning to photograph them. When I did go early the next morning they were at feeding at a different part of the lake so had to make to with Black Wing Stilts and Wood Sandpipers so I was not complaining. Patience was rewarded however when 3 or 4 birds flew right over in front of the South hide and started to feed. These are a few of the images I took with the added bonus of a Wood sandpiper.
