Photos from London and Hertfordshire January 2010

These are a selection of images i took from the London and Hertfordshire area in January 2010. The two redwings allowed me to get very close as they seemed more interested in getting some food than worrying about my presence. The images were taken in Broomfield park. The Shoveler, Egyptian goose and Tufted duck were photographed in Hyde park. The Mandarin duck and Tufted duck at Grovelands park. The Reed bunting image was taken at Great Amwell.

These are more images from 2009. They include a Peregrine Falcon taken at Hor Point, a kestrel at Zennor and Land end,Choughs at Nanquidno and a flying buzzard at Porthcurno.

These are some of my favourite images from 2009. They include a Peregrine falcon from hor point, a pale Buzzard from Porthcurnow, a Wheatear from Lands end, Choughs fron Nanquidno, a Spoonbill, little Egret and heron from Marazion marsh. I have also included an Otter from Marazion marsh and a Seal pup from Zennor. The two Red kite images are from the Chilterns.
