Swallows

I took these images of Swallows resting in the Sunshine  at Potomos near Liopetri in Cyprus. This small river is very close to the village of Liopetri where most of my wife's family live. It is  very pretty and beautiful and is popular with tourists. It is used by the local fishermen who fish with small boats and sit around either mending nets or bringing in locally caught fish. It is also a good place for birds to stop off on migration. I have seen Marsh Harriers, Honey Buzzards and Hoopoes there. It is also a good spot to see Kingfishers as they breed there.
