Red Deer in Richmond Park

The last couple of weekends I have visited Richmond Park in South West London to photograph the wild Red Deer that live in the park. The park is enormous being 2,360 acres and is home to some 600 Red Deer and Fallow Deer. September and October is the start of the rutting season so I managed to get down there at 7am as the Deer are more active in the early morning. These images were taken 3 weeks ago and the Deer were not in rutting mode so it was fairly easy to get some some close up images.
