I took these images of a Woodchat Shrike at Cape Grekko and Aya Napa sewages works. I saw over ten during my 3 weeks in Cyprus.If you closely in image one and three you wil see this Shrike sitting guard over the spiked Buttefly or moth is has caught. These are lovely looking birds and I was pleased to capture images of them as I had not seen one before.
What pretty birds - I really like their coloring.
