I came across this group of Bar Tailed Godwits on Eastern Beach at Marazion last week. I was able to use the cover of some rocks to get to within ten metres of these birds and they were so intent on feeding they did not notice me. I must admit that these are amongst my favourite wading birds so I really enjoyed being able to get close to them in order to photograph them.
