Ever since seeing wild Red Squirrels in the 1970s as a child when I lived a Carbis Bay I have been fascinated by these beautiful creatures. They died out in the wild in Cornwall in the 1980s I believe although there are plans to establish them again and they have been introduced to Tresco recently. I photographed these wild Red Squirrels last October in Hawes North Yorkshire courtesy of a local wild life photographer who runs photographic workshops there.
