These are the remaining images from my visit to Rye Meads Nature Reserve last week. I was quite fortunate to be in the hide by myself for a few minutes so it was very quiet and the male Kingfisher landed on the closest branch to the hide. These are the closest images I have taken of a Kingfisher and to a certain extent I was lucky but as say say the more time we put in the luckier we get.
He is so striking - and beautiful. Lucky you that you could be that close for such wonderful shots of him!
