Easter Sanderlings on Marazion beach

I spent a very cold Easter weekend at Marazion Cornwall last week but did have some limited opportunities for wildlife photography. I captured these images of some Sanderlings on Marazion beach . I may have managed to get some more images but was interupted several times by dogs and their walkers. Still I am happy to have captured these images.

  1. Nice photos! Those Sanderlings are such pretty birds. I'll bet it was worth getting cold!

  2. Lovely clean looking images mate. I particularly like the 6th image of the 2 birds together paddling in the surf. Adrian.

  3. Hi Anthony Great set of shots despite the cold, and we all know what you mean about dog walkers on the beach.
Still they are not allowed on after Easter Monday so at least the wildlife will have some respite.
Maybe catch you when your down again and the weather warms up

  5. Great shots, Anthony, despite the dog-walkers. What a nuisance those people and their hounds are - I was set-upon by a pit-bull when taking some photos in my local woods the other day!
