Pectoral Sandpiper Tregiffian Farm

I travelled home to Cornwall last weekend to principally celebrate our Wedding anniversary but also to try and get some some wildlife images. The weather was mixed as was my fortune in trying to get some good images. These photos were taken at Tregiifian farm near Nanquidno and show the much photographed Pectoral Sandpiper that has been resident there for a few days. I don't know how long he may stay or for that matter how long he may last as a Sparrowhawk nearly caught him when I was taking these images. The bird escaped and to my knowledge he returned to the same pool some hours afterwards.
