Marazion Stonechats

I have just come back after spending 5 days at the family house Marazion in Cornwall. I managed to use some of my time taking wildlife photographs primarily around the town and the Marsh. I also had the chance to try out a recently purchased second hand Nikon 500mm AFS lense which I think gave me mixed results. I will publish more photos from this stay over the next few weeks. It did give me the opportunity to meet Monty Curtis on the Marsh and that was indeed a pleasure. Included here are some images of a couple of Stonechats who were more than happy to pose on the Marsh and appear regulars in my blog.

  1. Hello Anthony

These are great.....lovely colors and very sharp......your a good photographer.

    Greetings, Joop

  2. Really nice photographs, my favourite is the last picture.

  3. Hi Anthony
Great set of Stonechat images, also it was great to hook up with you at Marazion and have a natter, look forward to the next time.
That 500mm is giving great results

  4. great set of photo's Anthony. I don't see nearly enough Stonechats on my patch!

  5. You just can't ignore a Stonechat, a Stunning set, the uncluttered background really shows them off.

  6. Beautiful shots. Really like how the background sets them off without detracting from the subject. Very nice!
